Falling in Love #104 went a step further by actually working the romance titles into the main plot of the story. In "The Truth About Men," leading lady Noelle writes in to DC advice columnist, Ann Martin for advice. As you will see, she even received a reply from the love guru!

ReplyDeleteThe exception would be the cover to Falling in Love #75, which included part of a cover of that book, on the far right. Wouldn't it have been funny if it had been a shrunken version of the cover for #75!
It would have! The panel from Girls' Love Stories #164 also shows an issue of Girls' Love Stories, though the title is shortened to Girls' Love.
